In the Confederate Ranks

This photograph is precisely what I envisioned when I made the exposure. Our inquisitive young hero is spotlighted within surrounding the older men. The photograph has a story to tell (a true one), and the subject fully dominates the frame. This image has won First Place, Best of Show, and the Minetti Award.
