Gold and Rose

Late afternoon light puts sparkle on the guitar, defines contours of the red shirt, and puts an "S" curve of highlight on the left forearm. The result is a simple, dynamic image of dimension and substance. Natural light doesn't get any better than this, and it doesn't have to. This photograph was awarded First Place at California Mid-State Fair.
