Under the Pier

Photography isn't just a matter of "enough" light; it's often a matter of what the light can contribute to the image. The light sparkles on the overhead beams like a discotheque, and enhances the receding pattern and lines. It also balances the visual weight of those beams with the bottom third of the photograph.
