Her Graceful Light

Ethereal. The graceful, feminine curve of rock and the glow beyond beckon to that lighted world within the canyon. Flowing waters have carved this hallway at Her command. This photograph reveals Her serene and powerful presence, and we call Her "Nature."

It's partly a matter of being there: in ten minutes the light had shifted enough so that the impact in this image was gone. I wandered (and wondered!) up and down this short canyon for about three hours, photographing different areas as the light took its show up and down the canyon.
