Like Birds Dining

By now, the sky offers patches of brighter light. It is only a matter of waiting for the light to drift into position to emphasize the main subject. The augers resemble birds looking for bugs. They gather in front of a bright green band between two darker areas of green, and this effect brings them forward in the photograph. They are also in the spotlight themselves, giving them good contrast and enhancing their dominant role. As a bonus, there are lines across the background field running opposite to the diagonals of the augers. I believe that if those lines ran parallel, they would reduce the dominance of the main subject.
