The dark shadow of distant rock directs attention to the car, and the car, with front wheels turned in a line with our point of view, now directs its attention to us. Horizontal weight and balance to the subject is achieved by the foreground bush. And lastly—serendipity!—the matching hue of sky and hood pull the image together vertically. It all comes together to hold attention within the frame.
