Snowbanks

This is another instance of light and background working particularly well for a portrait. Light is sufficiently diffused to mitigate deep shadows and burned out highlights, yet contrasty enough for a well-defined portrait of a classy gentleman of Faire. The background, a dark, very muted green, complements the image without distraction.
