Fiddle Competitor

He is performing in the fiddle competition. In general, microphones and stands were necessary for sound reinforcement (it's a fairly large and open venue), but they were an impediment to photography. Here, though, I was able to use the stand as an anchor at the left ~ the so-called "flagpole" composition. This guy's presence is strong enough that the image balance is satisfactory.
