At the Cook Shed

The ladies were dressed in fine apparel of the day and they did look most smashing! The white blouses and aprons, however, were often a problem for photography. They reflected so much light that detail was easily lost. I was surprised that, even here in the shade, the whites still presented a challenge. Nevertheless, she was a pleasant and patient subject and we got this photograph of a young woman serving a call for duty.
