Cayucos Polar Bear Swim

They assembled on the first day of 2016 to plunge into the ocean water. The event seemed a good excuse to get some experience with a new camera. People were in high spirits, despite some shivering after the plunge. They were not so graceful as the flock of birds, but I consider them more ambitious. Perhaps next year I'll check out a similar event at Avila Beach.
