Fesno Pirate Festival

Fresno was on the itinerary of a return trip from the California Redwood Forests. The Pirate Festival was held the same weekend. It was a good opportunity for a diversion from the roads.

It is a small festival, but filled with good people nonetheless. They were good subjects for making photographs of people in interesting and unusual vestments, including those scurvy dogs of the sea. Background distractions were particularly troublesome at this event, and thus limited the opportunities. Still, a few good photographs came of the day, and they are shown below.
