Seven Magic Mountains

They are the work of Ugo Rondinone and are located west of Las Vegas, Nevada, just south off Interstate 15 highway. According to Nevada Art, they are "a creative expression of human presence in the desert." It must be so, because they do draw a crowd, and I was part of it. By the time the sun broke through the clouds to put solid light on the formations, people were beginning to arrive to the area. Some of them fit very well into the scene. And so it is that the Magic Mountains, and some of the visitors, were photographed on this day.
